2020 Parts for the Arts
Once again the Prince Albert Arts Board is pleased to invite all creative industry shareholders to an information-sharing forum on Saturday, February 1st at the EA Rawlinson Centre for the Arts.
Our 4th Annual Parts for the Arts will begin at 10am with a feedback circle, featuring representatives from provincial arts organizations. Find out what these organizations can offer you and your artistic endeavours, and meet others in the arts that share your concerns, challenges, and goals.
At noon lunch will be provided, catered by My Place Catering, free of charge to registered attendees.
Following lunch, a keynote presentation will be given by Mary-Ann Kirkby; National best-selling author of I Am Hutterite and Secrets of a Hutterite Kitchen.
I Am Hutterite is the fascinating true story of a young woman’s journey to reclaim her heritage. Mary-Ann’s memoir chronicled her childhood experiences growing up on a Hutterite colony in Western Canada and the difficult aftermath of leaving her community to forge a new life in the modern world. Mary-Ann is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, delighting audiences with her honest and humorous accounts of her people and their extraordinary way of life. She lives in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and is married to Gordon Kirkby. Together, they share a wonderful son, Levi.
